This Lent, we invite you to journey with Dr. Tim Gray by signing up for Daily Lenten Reflections. Each day you will receive in your inbox a short video which features Dr. Gray commenting on the daily Mass readings, explaining the Scriptures, and providing you with concrete ideas on how to apply them to your Christian life. The Holy Name Society will be hosting a Men's Retreat on Saturday, March 19th at the St. Christopher Parish Center, 30 Benner Road. We will gather for coffee and a continental breakfast at 9:00 am. The retreat will begin at 10:00 am, with Fr. Oliver as our guest speaker. Lunch included. The retreat will conclude with Mass at 5:00 pm. Our Holy Name Society will be hosting their Annual Lenten Fish Fry Dinners on the following Fridays during Lent: March 11th, March 25th, & April 8th from 5:00--7:00 pm at the St. Christopher School Gym. Eat in or take out. If possible, please call ahead for take-out orders. 845-758-3732. Wild caught cod, shrimp, and clam dinners. Combinations available as well as baked fish dinners.

Father David has concluded his term here at the Parish of St. Christopher & St. Sylvia. Prior to his departure, please join us for his Farewell Reception: Sunday, February 20th at the Parish Center, 30 Benner Road at 12:30 pm (after the 11:00 am Mass).

All the members of St. Christopher & St. Sylvia and Good Shepherd Parishes are invited to a Lenten Morning of Prayer on Monday, March 14th from 9:45 am -- 11:15 am at the Good Shepherd Parish Hall, 3 Mulberry St., Rhinebeck. We will begin with a brief talk on Praying with Scripture; then we will have time for reflection and sharing our reflections. Join us and bring a friend. The next Prison Ministry Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 9th from 3:30--4:30 pm in the Parish Center. We will begin writing Easter cards for prisoners on death row in Alabama.

Our "New To You" Thrift Shoppe will be opening in the Spring! We will be accepting donations on Saturday, February 12th from 12:30--3:30 pm at the Parish Center, 30 Benner Road. At this time, we will only accept the following items: women's clothing, purses, wallets, belts, shoes, jewelry, books, housewares, plant pots & accessories, Spring/Easter holiday decor, lamps, small handheld tools, artwork & frames, vases, bric a brac, art & craft supplies. Chiara Corbella Petrillo--"A Witness to Joy", by Simone Troisi and Christiana Paccini, is a book about a heroic woman whose special charism was joy! This charisma flowed from her love for God into her family, friends, and out into the world! Our Book Club meets on Mondays at 6:30 pm in the St. Christopher Parish Center. The book is available in hard copy and on Kindle from amazon.com. There is a sign-up sheet in back of the church.

In the Spring of 2022, under the direction of Gina McCrudden, we will be opening a Thrift Shop to raise funds for our parish. We are looking for volunteers to help and will have a planning meeting on Monday, January 31st at 2:00 pm in the Parish Center. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend!!

Due to the renovations taking place in the St. Christopher School gymnasium, the Holy Name Breakfast for January is cancelled.

This story is about one woman's journey from a Planned Parenthood clinic director to a pro life activist. Join us on Friday, January 21st at 7 pm in the Parish Center to view this life changing film. There will be a short discussion following the film. This film is suitable for high school students and adults. Please sign up at the back of the church if you plan to attend.

Come adore Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament at 7:00 pm every Wednesday at St. Christopher Church. This month (January) we will be praying for the respect of every life from conception to natural death.
