St. Christopher/St. Sylvia is offering this study on Mondays, September 13th through November 29th at 6:30 pm in the Parish Center, 30 Benner Road. A sign-up sheet is located in back of the church. The next Defensive Driving Class is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th from 8:30 am -- 3:00 pm in the Parish Center, 30 Benner Road. Many thanks to Gina McCrudden for coordinating our 2021 Tag Sale! We are so grateful for her hard work and dedication to our parish. Along with the help of our volunteers, countless hours were spent over the summer collecting items, sorting, staging, and pricing items for the sale. As always, it was very successful! We appreciate everyone who helped from beginning to end and for all who shopped the sale. THANK YOU!

Come lay down your joys, burdens, and cares before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. He is the only one with the answers to our daily struggle and worldly problems. Our Lady Queen of Peace Prayer Group meets every Wednesday from 7 pm -- 8 pm in the church. Holy Hour includes Rosary, silent meditation, and the Divine Mercy before the Blessed Sacrament. This month we will offer the Holy Hour for the healing of the Church. Join us afterwards for a parking lot social (bring your own lawn chair).

First Friday Adoration will take place on August 6th after the 9:00 am Mass until Noon. Please come to participate in this special devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Sign up in the back of the church.

There are a number of overgrown shrubs and trees that are encroaching on headstones at our cemetery. In the coming weeks, we will have the trees and vegetation professionally pruned or removed as necessary to improve the landscape and visibility of the headstones. Thank you for your cooperation. Gina McCrudden is hanging up her basket! We are so grateful to Gina for her many years of dedicated service coordinating our Basket Bingo Fundraiser. We are looking for a volunteer to take over managing this annual event, which raises funds to support our Religious Education program. This is a wonderful opportunity to do our Lord's work. Beginning the weekend of August 8th, the Wednesday 9 am Masses will be permanently suspended. The Wednesday Mass intentions already scheduled for the remainder of the year will be combined with the Friday 9 am Mass. Wednesday 9:00 am daily Mass is offered at Good Shepherd Church in Rhinebeck. Beginning in September the 7:00 am Tuesday/Thursday Masses at the Holy Spirit Chapel will be permanently suspended. The Mass intentions will be added to the 9:00 am Mass of the same day for the remainder of the year. Beginning October, one Sunday Mass will be eliminated. The 10:30 am and the 12:00 pm Masses will be combined to become an 11:00 am Mass. Thank you for your understanding.
